To meet these goals, Black Air developed the Lambert-Lima Flying Squadron cadet program which includes the following:
Aviation—provides youth with an insight into; job opportunities that exist in the aviation industry, aviation history, the theory of flight. While the emphasis is on aviation opportunities, we offer a hands on flying experience provided by independently licensed and insured pilots. Cadets are also taken on a tour of Quonset Air Museum.
Filmmaking—expose youth to the methods used to create documentaries. This program has the potential to position Blacks and minorities at the forefront of the film industry.
Radio and Television— provides youth orientation to the methods of the industry and job opportunities. The cadets are taken on a tour of a Radio station and a Television studio.
Black Air appreciates the support of our members and donors, and our generous sponsors.
